Green Mountains Getaway
This second floor bedroom has two beautiful shaker-style twin headboards made of natural finish cherry wood. The beds roll together to make a king, as needed—let us know how you would like it set up for your Vermont vacation. This playfully angular room, named for New England philosopher, transcendentalist, scholar, and naturalist, Ralph Waldo Emerson, has original fir floorboards and exposed beams. The adjoining bathroom has lots of shelf space and a shower stall with a glazed door. The view looks west through the trees to the Adirondack Mountains. Read some poetry, contemplate the day, or get online and play a game in your comfortable chair. Seeing the afternoon sunsets from this room will lift your spirits.
